This week, sees the launch of a click and collect website for one of Somerset’s favourite cafes. Mahalia’s Kitchen is an ideal place to wind down between shopping sprints at Clark’s Village Shopping Outlet across the road. Situated in the middle of the high Street in Street Somerset. Mahalia’s Kitchen offers a taste of the Caribbean that can be enjoyed in the cafe, outside in the charming garden or now to take away and enjoy at home or work.
Mahalia, asked We are Chain to help grow her online presence and be able to offer an online takeaway service. The range of food available includes healthy vegetarian and vegan options alongside her growing Friday Night Curry Club. We used Shopify to build the website and create a clean customer experience using a mix of Caribbean colours in keeping with the flavours on offer.
We spent a day with Mahalia in Street capturing images of the food for the website using our mobile photography studio set up. Always an enjoyable time when photographing client’s food because you get to taste it, which was especially good news with Mahalia’s food!
